2023 Panini Select Premier League

The 2023-24 Panini Select Premier League is the second annual installment of Panini's premium three-tiered EPL product. Released July 10, 2024, it builds on the inaugural 2022-23 release with refined parallel options and a deeper checklist. The 250-card base set maintains the signature three-tier structure: Terrace (100, most common), Mezzanine (100, mid-tier), and Field Level (50, scarcest). The parallel rainbow spans 29 variants — 12 unnumbered (Blue, Checkerboard, Gold Wave, Green Ice, Multi-Color, Peacock, Pink Ice, Purple Mojo, Red, Red Ice, Silver, White Sparkle) and 17 numbered from Pink Mojo /325 down through Tie-Dye /49, Zebra /25, Pink Wave /13, dual Gold variants (/10), Green /5, and Black 1/1. The hobby box (~ market) delivers 60 cards with 3 auto/relic hits, 14 total parallels (5 numbered), and 7 inserts. Four autograph sets (Select Signatures, Pitchside Signatures, standard Signatures, Autographed Memorabilia) cover current stars and legends. Four memorabilia sets (Select Memorabilia, Jumbo Swatches, Select Swatches, Dual Swatches) provide match-worn content. Case-hit inserts follow the Select playbook: Stained Glass (30 cards) is the crown jewel, Artistic Impressions (25) and Visionary (25) round out the premium chase at roughly 1 per case each. Standard inserts (Equalizers, Select Future, Select Stars, Unstoppable, Team Badges) appear at 7 per box. The Hobby International box offers a more accessible entry with 1 auto and exclusive parallels at roughly half the hobby price. As the middle chapter of Panini's three-year Select PL run, this set improved on the inaugural release's quality control issues while maintaining the product's core appeal: the three-tier design, massive parallel rainbow, and iconic Stained Glass chase.
