The Verdict

Panini's final Select Premier League before Topps took over the license. The three-tiered design (Terrace/Mezzanine/Field Level) with 36 parallel variants gives massive rainbow depth, and 3 auto/relic hits per hobby box matches the Select FIFA formula. Stained Glass and Honeycomb remain the iconic chases. However, at it's more than Prizm PL while the PL rookie class is thin — Palmer and Mainoo autos are the highlights but there's no generational talent to drive excitement. Quality control issues (mis-cuts, off-centre cards) have plagued the Select PL line. Buy for the Select design and chase experience, but expect better value in Prizm PL or Select FIFA.
